Amogy and GS Engineering & Construction have formed a joint venture to develop carbon-free power generation using ammonia cracking technology. The system converts ammonia into hydrogen to generate electricity, offering a scalable and infrastructure-light solution. A 40 MW pilot project is planned at South Korea’s Yeongilman Industrial Complex under a government-designated energy zone.
