Âmbar Sul Energia, part of Âmbar Energia and J&F Group, signed a contract with Rio Grande do Sul to produce green hydrogen in Candiota using solar-powered electrolysis. Replacing grey hydrogen in the Candiota III Thermal Power Plant, the project aims to cut 49.136 kg CO₂ annually. With a total R$14 million investment and 21-month implementation, it serves as a pilot for industrial decarbonization.
