AIP Management has acquired a 49% stake in a 700MW UK battery energy storage portfolio from BW ESS, marking its first standalone battery investment. The portfolio includes three assets—one operational and two under construction—capable of powering 2.3 million homes for 3.5 hours. Located near key grid hubs, the assets address rising UK storage demand.
