Adani Power won a bid to supply Maharashtra with 6,600 MW of combined Solar and Thermal Power, offering a lower rate of Rs 4.08 per unit compared to competitors. This 25-year contract includes 5,000 MW of Solar and 1,600 MW of Coal Power. The deal, aimed at meeting future electricity needs, helps Maharashtra advance towards its Renewable Energy goals.
