Adani Power has received a Letter of Intent from Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd. to develop a 2,400 MW thermal power plant in Pirpainti, Bhagalpur, with an investment of $3 billion. The plant will supply 2,274 MW to North and South Bihar power distribution companies at a tariff of ₹6.
