The Indian government plans to implement an Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for Solar PV Cells, effective April 1, 2026, to enhance domestic manufacturing and support green energy. This initiative follows the successful introduction of ALMM for Solar Modules in 2019. The new list aims to ensure high-quality products and reduce import dependency.
