Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has formally acquired an interstate transmission system (ISTS) scheme for supplying renewable energy power to green hydrogen manufacturing units in Gujarat. This acquisition was made under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) route. The project, known as "Transmission system for supply of power to Green hydrogen/ammonia manufacturing potential in Mundra area of Gujarat under Phase-I: Part B1 scheme," involves the development of a 3 GW capacity at the Navinal substation.
