ACWA Power has signed a binding agreement with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy to develop up to 2GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the country. This partnership, initiated at COP29 in Nov 2024, aligns with regional Renewable Energy goals. The agreement underscores ACWA Power’s role in Uzbekistan's Energy Sector and supports the Nation’s Energy transition and Carbon reduction efforts.
