ACWA Power has commenced full commercial operations of its 501 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at the Riverside Solar project in Uzbekistan. The complex, fully owned by ACWA, includes a 200 MW photovoltaic plant and the BESS, implemented in coordination with JSC National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan.
