ACWA Power’s wind power plants in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara region, with a combined 1 GW capacity, have begun full-scale operations. The Bash and Dzhankeldy wind farms, each with 79 turbines, were commissioned ahead of schedule. ACWA Power holds a 65% stake, with China Southern Power Grid owning 35%.
