CME Solar has commissioned the first phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project with 19 MW/38 MWh capacity in Sanwara and Mehar Nagar, Tehsil-Pokhran, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The total planned expansion is 285 MW/600 MWh. The initial phase will operate as merchant capacity, with the option to transition to a long-term PPA.
