UERC Proposes Higher Solar Tariffs for 2024-25

UERC proposes raising tariffs for Rooftop and Small-scale Solar Plants in FY 2024-25. The draft includes a Net Tariff of ₹4.24 per kWh for Solar Power and ₹14.23 per unit for Solar Thermal. Reasons cited include lower Solar Module prices and improved technology. Benchmark costs for Solar Modules have been reduced, reflecting advances in technology and competitive market conditions.
