ONGC Videsh Extends Vietnamese Oil Block in South China Sea by 3 Years

"ONGC Videsh Ltd, India's key international entity, has attained a fresh three-year extension for oil and gas exploration in a Vietnamese block located within the disputed South China Sea waters. The extension marks the eighth for OVL, a subsidiary of India's state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The prior extension, the seventh, permitted exploration until June 15, 2023.
