Maharashtra Sanctions Rs 10,000 Crore Solar Scheme Insight

The Maharashtra cabinet has approved over Rs 10,000 crore for the CM's Solar Agriculture Feeder Scheme 2.0 to provide 100% daytime Electricity to farmers. The initiative aims for 16,000 MW of Solar Capacity by 2025. Additionally, Rs 2,891 crore will fund infrastructure and incentives, while the Free Electricity Scheme 2024 will cover 44 lakh farmers' power bills.
