Iraq Starts Importing Power from Turkey to Address Chronic Outages

Iraq has launched a new 115-kilometre power line connecting to Turkey's Kisik station, delivering 300 megawatts to northern provinces. This move aims to ease chronic power shortages and diversify energy sources, reducing reliance on Iranian supplies and integrating with regional grids.
