India's July Petroleum Consumption Up 7.4%

India saw a 7.4% rise in Petroleum Product consumption, reaching 19.65 million metric tons in July 2024. LPG and Petrol usage surged by 10.1% and 10.5%, respectively, while Diesel increased by 4.5%. Conversely, Bitumen and Kerosene use fell. Natural gas consumption rose 5.8%, and ethanol blending in petrol hit 15.83%. Power consumption grew 3.5%, with peak demand up to 226.63 GW.
