India's AT&C Losses Decline, Targets 12-15% by 2025

India's AT&C losses decreased from 22.62% in 2013-14 to 15.40% in 2022-23. The Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme aims to further reduce losses to 12-15% by 2024-25, enhancing utility Finances and System maintenance, and improving Electricity Costs for consumers through more efficient power procurement and reduced Transmission costs.
