India Enables 100% FDI to Boost Renewable Energy Insight

The Indian Government has allowed 100% FDI in Renewable Energy, including Solar, with an FDI of USD 9,663.23 million from 2014-2024. It has implemented initiatives like 50 GW Renewable Energy bids, waived transmission charges, & introduced Renewable Purchase and Consumption Obligations. Other measures include the National Green Hydrogen Mission, PM-KUSUM, and the Green Energy Corridor Scheme.
