Iberdrola Begins 376MW Solar+ BESS Project in Queensland

Iberdrola Australia has started first time building the 376MW Broadsound Solar and Battery project in Queensland. Featuring a 180MW/260MWh Battery Storage System, the project will store and export solar energy. Located 860km northwest of Brisbane, it spans 2,100 acres and involves significant infrastructure. This initiative reflects Iberdrola's €2-3 billion investment in Australian Renewables.
