GUVNL Seeks Approval for Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy : GERC

GERC: A petition has been filed under the Electricity Act, 2003, concerning the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy 2023. It seeks approval for a tariff mechanism and PPAs for small Solar and Wind projects exempt from competitive bidding. The Gujarat Electricity Board's reorganization and updated regulations support Renewable Energy Growth, with GUVNL managing power procurement.
