GreenIron Secures $9.2M for Hydrogen-Based Iron Production Plant
Swedish company GreenIron has secured $9.2 million in funding for its hydrogen-based direct reduced iron (DRI) plant in Sandviken, set to produce 28,000 tonnes annually. The funding supports the construction of the plant, which aims to deliver fossil-free iron by year's end, marking a significant step toward sustainable industrial practices and reduced emissions.
