Coal India intends to invest Rs 21,547 crore in two thermal facility in Odisha

The state-owned Coal India Ltd (CIL) intends to invest Rs 21,547 crore in two thermal facilities in Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. One project is proposed in Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh, while the other is in Odisha's Sundergarh area. CIL intends to build two thermal power plants. One is being built at Amarkantak as a joint venture with the Madhya Pradesh government.
