Websol Energy Systems’ Board approved a ₹3,000 crore phased expansion to add 4 GW each of solar cells and modules via a subsidiary. Building on Phase I’s 600 MW solar cell and 550 MW module lines in West Bengal, with 90% utilization, Phase II’s 600 MW solar cell line will start in October 2025.
