Waaree Energies Ltd. acquired a 64% stake in Kotsons Pvt. Ltd. for INR 192 crores, entering the transformer sector. Kotsons, with a 4,000 MVA production facility in Rajasthan, manufactures transformers up to 35 MVA and plans expansion to higher capacities. Certified globally, including UL dry transformers for the US and Canada, this acquisition strengthens Waaree’s vertical integration from solar modules to power transmission.
