Verbund Wind Power Romania has acquired a 272MW wind project in Caras-Severin County from Monsson. The project, at the "Ready to Build" stage, will begin construction in 2026. Verbund aims to expand its Renewable Energy portfolio in Romania, where it has operated a 226MW wind farm since 2012. This acquisition aligns with Verbund's 2030 strategy to increase Solar and Wind power, targeting 25% of its total generation from renewables by 2030.
