Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited has approved a ₹165 crore investment for a 26% stake in a 150 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project with Serentica Renewable India 9 Pvt Ltd. The 25-year BOOM agreement will enable round-the-clock renewable power supply by integrating storage with an existing 600 MW solar power arrangement.
