UPERC, in its August 25, 2026 order, deferred consideration of UPPCL’s petition seeking approval for procuring 600 MW wind power from SECI. The Commission sought clarifications on discrepancies in CUF figures and contracted capacity, besides requiring UPPCL to justify the procurement against the Central Electricity Authority’s Resource Adequacy Report.
