The Union Cabinet has approved two semiconductor projects worth over ₹3,900 crore under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), advancing India’s push for a self-reliant chip ecosystem. Located in Gujarat, the projects will generate over 2,200 skilled jobs and take total approved semiconductor investments to ₹1.
