The UK has signed a £7.5 billion agreement with Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation to invest in Hydrogen and Offshore Wind infrastructure by 2035. Signed in Tokyo, the deal supports the UK’s Plan for Change and Modern Industrial Strategy, aiming to solidify its role as a clean energy leader. Sumitomo will focus on decarbonization and infrastructure growth.
