A consortium led by TPG, Mavco Investments, and ex-JSW Energy CEO Prashant Jain has sought CCI approval to acquire Siemens Gamesa’s Onshore Wind Business in India and Sri Lanka. TPG, via affiliates, and Mavco, tied to the Murugappa family, will gain control of turbine manufacturing and services.
