TP Solar, solar manufacturing arm of Tata Power and wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL), produced 1 GW solar modules and 0.9 GW solar cells in Q2 FY27. With this, H1 FY27 (April-September 2026) output reached 2 GW modules and 1.8 GW cells from its 4.3 GW plant in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, where Tata Power invested ₹4,300 crore via TPREL.
