Toyota Tsusho and Eurus Energy are expanding Egypt’s Gulf of Suez Wind Farm II by 150 MW, increasing its total capacity to 654 MW. The expansion, set to be Africa’s largest, involves adding 20 large turbines. Expected to be operational by 2025, it supports Egypt’s goal of 42% Renewable Energy by 2030, with a $790M investment and a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement.
