Berlin-based battery manufacturer Theion has secured €15 million in Series-A funding to develop its next-generation crystal sulphur batteries, which weigh one-third of existing EV batteries. Founded in 2020, Theion uses sulphur crystals, a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to lithium-ion.
