A smaller domestic hexagenarian signed its largest EV agreement to begin in 2023, shortly after Fox Conn made India's EV market its playground. Sundram Fasteners, based in Chennai, got a $250 million contract to supply sub-assemblies for an international automaker's EV platform. The largest iPhone manufacturer in the world, Foxconn, is considering setting up an EV manufacturing plant in India.
