THDC India Ltd (THDCIL) announced that its 250 MW unit at the Tehri Pumped Storage Power Plant in Uttarakhand will begin operations within a week. The plant, with a total capacity of 1,000 MW across four units, aims to complete full Power Generation by 2025. THDCIL has invested Rs 7,800 crore so far and has a current installed capacity of 1,587 MW, including Hydro, Wind, and Solar.
