Tesla has begun deliveries of its Semi electric trucks to first customers at its Sparks, Nevada plant, nearly nine years after unveiling in 2017, though mass production will start only in 2026. Executives said the long-haul truck expands Tesla beyond sedans and SUVs into commercial freight amid high diesel prices.
