TATA Steel has launched its initial hydrogen injection trial into the blast furnace, aims to lower its carbon footprint, and achieve net zero carbon emission by 2045. The trial is taking place in Jamshedpur and involves 40% hydrogen injection 40% to lessen the utilization of metallurgical coke and decrease emissions.
