Tata Power plans Rs 2,500 crore investment for a 500 MW ground-mounted solar project in West Bengal, its biggest in the state so far, expected by 2027 Dussehra. CEO Praveer Sinha said the company has approached state government for land at 3-4 locations including Haldia, Bankura, Durgapur and north Bengal, as large contiguous land is difficult to get.
