Tata Power Renewable Energy has commissioned a 72.5 MW ground-mounted solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, supplying green energy to Tata Steel through TP Vardhman Surya. The project is expected to generate 166 million units of renewable electricity annually and reduce carbon emissions by 1,18,856 tonnes each year.
