Tangedco's Solar Power Generation has reached new heights, with a record 43.2 million units absorbed into the Grid on Sunday. Solar output peaked at 5,648 MW, nearing the all-time high of 5,973 MW set on August 9. Tamil Nadu now has 8,574 MW of installed Solar Capacity, including 1,462 MW added in 2023-24, with monthly Grid additions of at least 100 MW.
