US-based Talon PV and Fraunhofer ISE plan a pilot TOPCon solar cell production line in Germany at Fraunhofer’s PV-TEC center. This pilot will replicate the equipment for Talon PV’s upcoming 4 GW factory in Houston, Texas, enabling process and product optimization before full production. The new line will produce G12 format TOPCon cells.
