Taiwan’s Teco Invests in Solar and Energy Storage Projects in Malaysia

Taiwan’s Teco Electric and Machinery Co. will invest up to NT$804 million (US$25.6 million) in solar energy and energy storage projects in Malaysia. The move targets the growing demand for data centers in Southeast Asia and supports Malaysia’s emergence as a regional green energy hub. The investment aligns with Teco’s long-term strategy to develop infrastructure for renewable energy and data center operations.
