Van Oord has secured a contract from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to install inter-array cables for the Fengmiao 1 offshore wind farm in Taiwan. Located 35 km off Taichung's coast, this 500 MW project will boost Taiwan's renewable energy supply. Van Oord will transport, install, and bury 33 cables, totaling 64 km, using their specialised vessel Nexus.
