Synera Renewable Energy Group (SRE Group) has partnered with Siemens Gamesa to deploy 35 turbines for the 495 MW Formosa 4 offshore wind project in Taiwan. The 14-MW turbines will be manufactured in Taichung and installed 18-20 km off Miaoli County at depths of 57-64 meters. Transported by Cadeler A/S and supported by Century Wind Power foundations, Formosa 4 will supply electricity to around 500,000 households annually.
