Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL), in a 50:50 joint venture with Hassan Allam Construction, has secured a $560 million EPC contract for the West Minya Solar Power Project in Egypt. The project includes a 1,000 MWac solar power plant integrated with a 600 MWh battery energy storage system, along with grid interconnection and transmission infrastructure.
