Sunsure Energy has signed a 15-year Battery Energy Discharge Purchase Agreement (BEDPA) with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN) to supply power from a 125 MW/500 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Developed under the BOO model, the project supports flexible power delivery to UPPCL during peak hours.
