Study suggests 5% feasibility in blending of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia

EIL in collaboration with IIT Kanpur has suggested 3- 5% blending of Green Hydrogen with Piped Natural Gas is feasible without compromising the pipeline infrastructure, both groups are conducting extensive study to examine impact of hydrogen on the city gas distribution network. A 5% blend has also been achieved by NTPC's project which was further increased to 8% showing potential for scalability.
