A study by the Federal Association for New Energy Industry found that grassland within conventional solar parks can support sheep and cattle grazing without dedicated agrivoltaic systems. Research across five solar parks in Germany showed higher plant diversity and protein content under PV modules, with biomass greatest between rows.
