SSE Renewables and RWE will begin a geotechnical survey in August for their proposed 1 GW North Falls Wind farm off England’s east coast. The study will assess the export cable route and 57-turbine array, located 40km from East Anglia. Fugro’s Voe Vanguard vessel will conduct downhole sampling, cone penetration testing, and rotary core drilling.
