Sparc Technologies has begun constructing a groundbreaking green hydrogen pilot plant at the University of Adelaide's Roseworthy Campus in South Australia. This facility employs photocatalytic water splitting (PWS) technology, which uses sunlight and a photocatalyst material to produce hydrogen directly from water, eliminating the need for costly electrolysers.
